Had Sandgrabbas for more than a year and they look brand new (or would if I washed the sand & mud off). Love them!Originally posted by DGW View PostSandgrabba mats are not thin. Had them in my last Prado for 9 years and they were the first thing ordered for the 150. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone.Ian

I'm not sure if I can wait for a set of Sandgrabbas or the other eBay ones, need something for the weekend as I'm expecting to see some mud. Perhaps someone can point me to some specific alternatives at Repco or Bursons? My local Toyota dealer has the rubber ones in stock, might have to get those after all if I can't source anything else locally.

Thanks Andrew, have sent them a message asking if they allow pickups. Assume you mean these ones :-

Yep. Listing says no pickup but postage within Melbourne should be next day delivery. I already have Sandgrabbas but would be interested in your thoughts of the 3d mats if you end up getting them.Originally posted by fido666 View PostThanks Andrew, have sent them a message asking if they allow pickups. I have the Toyota mats and they still look brand new. They are however only 3 months old but have done 10 000 kms with them.2013 Blue Storm D4D 150 GXL Auto, Opposite Lock Bullbar, Safari Snorkel, GME 3345 UHF + AE4018 Antenna, HR Tow Bar, TG150, HD Rhino Roof Racks, Foxwing, Dual Batteries, C-Tek DCDC Charger, ARB 47L Fridge, ScanGauge II, Internal Fishing Rod Storage, X-Ray Vision HIDs and LEDs, New PP Sticker.... Yeah they're slipper and make a horrible scratching sound when you move your boots on them.Originally posted by fido666 View PostWhat was the issue with the Sandgrabbas Wooley? Too slippery?
They're also really uncomfortable if you ever drive barefoot.
I do a similar thing. If I'm trying to impress a lady I chuck carpet ones in. Also protect your going out boots a bit more haha.Originally posted by BendmanHey Fido,
When I bought the car I had carpeted Toyota mats in there. I quite liked them so bought a set of Toyota rubber ones that I put under the carpeted ones permanently. Before I go out to play, I pull the carpeted ones out leaving the rubber ones only then after clean up I put the carpeted ones back in for around town comfort. Just throwing that out there as an idea for you.2011 150series GXL

Confirmed those eBay ones will allow pickup but it's a bit of faffing around to organise. In any case at $170 for the set the Toyota ones are still cheaper.Originally posted by fido666 View PostDoh! Missed the "no pickup" bit in the listing.
Thanks for the feedback on the Toyota ones guys, decided to go with those. I've just purchased the fronts for now and will see how they go.
For those who have both carpet and rubber ones do the clips line up the same? Will I have to pull out the carpet version clips before laying the rubber mats down? I'm hoping I don't have to change them over every time. I do like Bendman's suggestion of laying the carpet ones on top of the rubber for normal weekday driving, so long as the carpet ones don't slide around of course.
Got the fronts for $49.50 but only because I asked for a car purchaser's discount, otherwise they were $55. Yeah I know it's only $5 but it's better than nothing.Last edited by fido666; 06-06-2013, 04:24 PM.
