  • ARB Modular Drawer System

Just got my ARB Modular Drawer System fitted. Been waiting 12 months for the design and acceptance of the wing kit for the Prado 150!!

Got a fixed drawer and sliding top drawer for fridge. Made for ARB by Outback, so quality looks good and fitting is very neat and tidy. Modular system apparently allows owner to move drawers to new vehicle..and just purchase new wing kit. Did a dual battery install while it was there so i could completely max out the c/card!

they look great. definitely something to consider along side the black widow.

any idea if they allow dual inbuilt fridge slides? I don't think its possible looking at the design, but it would be nice.

Hi Masso, yes drawer system looking good . Did you build over the rear seats or did you remove them?
          Cheers

Hi Guys... firstly... been away from the Forum a bit with work stuff... but hopefully back now. Will miss the GTG due to family pressures of imminent grandchildren being born!.. (however, if i can sneak away for part of it.. might be able to say hello)

Drawers are totally modular. Have a look at ARB website..you can have 2 fridge slides, low drawers, pretty much anything mix and match...then the wing kit designed per vehicle model.

Fitted by ARB Nundah, removed rear seats.

Fitting my old cargo barrier from the 120 in next weekend or 2...

Did you get a blue plate for the rear seat removal or just running with it?

I have my rears out at the moment, but about to put them back in as you need an engineer to blue plate your car for a seating capacity change in QLD

Just running with it.... not sure how that system works as the 120 and 200 series just unclip and lift out... cant imagine having to get a blue plate every time i did that! I have just removed the seats to let me carry cargo... viz a drawer system... then when finished, i will take out the cargo and replace the seats to their usual spot.

Yeah it is a major PITA - QLD transport requires a mod plate for removal/addition of seats. In models made to allow temporary removal of seats for cargo carrying eg 120 series and 200 series, you can remove the seats temporarily however. RACQ ran an article recently saying if you have fitted drawers etc they will see that as being a permanent change not a temporary change and still require a mod plate. Stupid rules, make no sense at all

Give Pottsy a call at ARB Nundah... he will give you the best price on a configuration to suit... as they are modular.. you need to make up the config. Cheers

WTF would it matter about drawers UNLESS you were carrying someone seated in there! (so i guess i carry my third row passengers IN the drawers just in case?) sheeeeesh!
