I like to think of the T3 as the smart-choice-bar. The LEDs were added before fitting. Have to thank Brains for reminding me about these. I would have done them in 6 months when the first bulb died.
Would love to know how to get 6 months out of the Park / Indicator bulbs

Bugger, I have been looking for LED replacements for three years and no luck.
Richo.
Richo, PM me and the next time you are in my neck of the woods (Eight Mile Plains or Acacia Ridge) pop in and grab some. I have heaps of the LED Bulbs for the Genuine Fog Lights...

Maybe a little off topic but as anybody with the TJM bars been able to find LED replacements for the parker and indicator lights in the bar??
I hit TJM up about this and they reckon there is somethin in the pipeline, but you'd think a company like that should have had something out years ago.
EDIT** wow so i just scrolled up a bit and i see the MJrandom has some on his. Care to share where you might have got these from?
Cheers
I asked for them to be changed before the bar was fitted, Brains fitted them to his T13 and that gave me a gentle reminder. The brand is the same as I fitted to the 120 (can you guess I don't remember what it was?). Paul do you remember the details? If not I can ask Darren tomorrow. $75.
Has anyone got a templete to cut a OE bar to fit the T13 outback bar. I'm not happy with the fit and finish of the headlight inserts that come with the TJM kit. The bar has a slightly different profile to the inserts so I cant just use the TJM ones as a templete. Cheers. Tony

Hi Folks,
First time poster, have been enjoying the forum over the last few months. thought it time i joined in. I have a 2012 D4D in Black. This is my third Prado and am an absolute fan. Just love em and would't buy anything else. Just wish they could tow a bit more though.
We have organised a trip in june/july to central Australia taking in Alice,Kings canyon,Uluru,Coober Pedy, William Creek, Maree, Flinders rangers. Been thinking about a Bull Bar to help keep us mobile if I bump into a Bouncing Bunny, or Big Bird.
So heres the question, I have been looking at all the pics, and have been thinking of going with the Alloy Delux T15 and would be interested if anyone has pics or comments. Reason for the alloy, understand its not as strong as steel, but it will be a bit lighter on the front and am starting to push the Vehicles GCM with Van in tow. So worried steel will add to much weight. Also think the Alloy looks pretty good on Black. Looks not so important to me but the boss drives it most times and need to look ok to get her approval to fit.
Anyhow, love the forum, and appreciate any comments or feedback
Have you thought about what it will look like once the plastic starts to fade? That's a lot of plastic to try and freshen up. The unpainted plastic infills from my TJM bar are already starting to look a bit ordinary after (I'm assuming as I didn't install it) a few years. The less bare plastic on a car the better, it always fades.
Mine came with the ARB black bull bar with winch. Ex police vehicle and they kept the spots.
Can honestly say (and I know sacrilege) I would have been happier with no bull bar at all. However I LOVE that T3 bar.
Hi Nikki,
Can you tell a bit why you would have been happier without a bull bar?
I dislike the looks of all of them for the 150! The TJM are definitely better looking as they are so much closer to the vehicle than ARBs, still TJM with their low quality panels is just an insult to the vehicle (no offense - just my 2 personal cents). The Smart bar snuggles up quite nicely to the vehicle but does look a bit on the "softy" side.
You don't have to use the infill pieces with the TJM bars you can ask for the bumper to be cut. I did that with the T3 and Hutch did with his T13. Pics earlier in this thread. As for the smart bar I had one on the 90 and used 303 on it. No real fading though there were a couple of spots.

I might be wrong but I think Fifo's bar was on when he bought it?
Correct although the previous owner told me it was traded with a ARB bar and Mako winch on it. I think someone at the car yard fancied that bar more then their TJM and swapped it hence why I have no bumper to cut.
ETA: I posted a pic of the ARB bar installed back on pg17, post 169. You can see in that pic that I have the painted "bumper cut" section.
Whats 303?
I think it's a product I use on the interior called Aerospace Protectant made by 303 Products, I got mine at Autobarn.
