• ROOFRACKS - What are 150 owners using???

Guys.....

I starting to do some research into Rookracks for our 150's and was surprised not to find any previous Topic on the subject within the 150's Accessories section....

So I thought I'd start a thread to gauge what people are using as a RookRack for their 150's.... Pics too would be VERY helpful to gauge how/what the racks look like.

Due to our garage height restrictions, I was looking at removing the original bars & use the Rhino Roofbars and when needed, simply bolt on the roofrack(preferred) or basket..

What do people have out there ???
cheers..... Rob (macca)

Check out my build thread for pics.

I'm using a Rhino Pioneer Platform rack to keep the overall height below my standard garage door. no lift kit, just upgraded springs and shocks and a Foxwing awning that just makes it it the garage.

I am using Whispbar S45 Base Rack they go directly to the factory rails so you don't add any height to the car.

What sort of RoofRack/Basket are u using and how does it bolt to the roofbars ???

From their Website, they say their good for 75kgs.... I guess that's per bar + the price listed is $329 but they don't say if that's per bar or a pair.... if it's per bar then that's $660 for a pair which I reckon is a bit high

That 75kg would be evenly distributed over both bars.

Im not after a rack, the OP is though.

Also the spelling in my last post is atrocious, I should type so fast the iPad can't keep up and it's stupid autocorrect ruins everything.

Don't mind the look of that one..... What sort of $$ is on that one ??

I gather the original OEM bars are removed to fit this one...... If u want to remove that "Rack only", is that the legs and everthing or something different?
