  • 150 Bonnet protector - any choice?

Is there a better alternative to the $110 Toyota bonnet protector?
    2012 GXL Diesel Auto.

Not so much an alternative as the same thing slightly cheaper. Good buy if you're in Sydney but won't save much if you need it shipped.

I found the bonnet protector and headlight protectors on the bay at Ryde Toyota for the best price and cheapest delivery. I didn't expect a Tojo dealer to be competitive!

I was considering putting the clear/invisible car bra like the 3M ventureshield. Apparently Lexus is starting to offer this type of product as part of its accesories. Example web site are:

Digging up an old thread here but having just purchased an 09 150 Kakadu I'm wondering if it's worth fitting both bonnet and headlight protectors to her. I can see the point in headlight protectors but do bonnet protectors do much to prevent stone damage?

Are there any good sources for these other than the dealer and eBay?

Check out this website... Looks as though you can put any writing on your bonnet protector.

They do a clear and tinted protector, as well as headlight protectors and weather shields.....

Is that a Pradopoint.com bonnet protector coming towards me???

I don`t bother with them anymore, as soon as you fit one, the next stone chip will be above it.

I've ordered a set of their headlight protectors via my local Autobarn shop; they were $20 a set cheaper than the Toyota ones. They will take a couple of weeks to come in I'm told since they have to come from interstate. I will let you know if they are any good once I receive them.

I'm still not convinced on the bonnet protector (in any brand), my last one just collected leaves and dirt.
