Looks like you are a thinker, and a good one I reckon. I wouldn't mind betting a few other 150 owners might just copy your water storage solution, looks pretty sweet!

Not sure about putting N..... Ni...... Niss............ another makers parts on a Toyota though

I must say its a welcome change to see someone join the forum to offer something with their first few posts rather than want to take something.

all other mods are usual ones uhf bull bar roof bars long handle shovel holder. did make my own draws

got runners off ebay the fridge lock plate i had in rear of ute previously. made the slide up out of plywood and some metal brackets also made lock pin to lock it in and out. sprung loaded 6mm rod with t handle. made a wedge out of ply wood covered it in carpet to stop rattles. slide shuts against wedge

Love the idea of the water tanks. Would like more pics of the installation if you have them. This mod will save me 3gran on a kaymar bar with Jerry can holders haha.

Awesome mod ! I might just copy it myself.... though watch that "T" piece, it will smash with one stone hit and spill your water supply on the track.

hope these help the channel was a bit of 150 c section with top edges hammered flat and angle iron welded on ends this bolts to the two lower tow bar bolts with one extra hole/bolt added to stop it rotating. tanks fit quite snug so no need for straps over top.

every thing sits higher than rear fuel tank. t piece is a gates automotive quality lot stronger than garden fitting. when pressure filling with garden hose one tank fills quicker than other so i normally put finger over breather as first tank over flows. could run that breather into other tank .good luck

Good stuff, my Jayco dumped 90L of drinking water on a short section of gravel, its got a stone guard over the water tank and a little plastic "T" piece hanging out in line with the back wheel.... its a bit of a shock when you go to fill up a drink bottle and get a puff of air Stones hitting it at 110kph can do some damage.
