    Comp style bar

    Anyone know of a comp style bar for the 150? XROX said, bizz no.

    This is the 120 bar, something exactly like this but for a 150 VX

    I'd be interested in one of these too if they existed...

    Did xrox give a reason why they wont do a tube bar for the 150?

          Develpoing this product would be expensive. I am not sure how many 120 bars they would have sold, not many judging by the numbers seen on this forum. I can only think of 3 that have been posted here, so if that is an indication then its probably not worth their while!

              why not? i seen one on a 120 and it looked neat, i think the market is limited as most ppl are looking for fancy bars.

              I would like to modify it tho to hold the front parking sensors.

              is there much difference in the mounting points on the 120 > 150? I know the front plastic bumper is molded different but would it be possible to hack a 120 bar onto a 150?

                I would think you may need to change mountings, which would bring issues with airbag compatibility, which brings roadworthy ness and insurance issues

                  Wasn't it Mumsrig that got the first x-rox bar for his 120. I recall a long thread ages ago where his was the
                  R&D vehicle. (from memory???)
                  2008 Diesel Prado with extra stuff added. I drive it on the road and other places too.

                      You would be correct Davros... As a matter of fact the 150 was on the radar for one of these bars and I advertised that fact in here asking for expressions of interest for an R&D car so that it could be done... Unfortunatley that's where I had to leave it as we moved to NSW not long after. As far as I am aware, one of the WA members had his vehicle booked in for all of the other R&D bits and pieces but from memory he wasn't interested in the XROX. There were a few others that were keen though...

                      Did you speak to Outback Accessories about it?
