  • 150 cargo liners

Hi all, new to the forum thing!

Just wondering what sort of cargo liners 150 series owners have.... We have a new vx (loving it by the way) and would like a liner in for protection from kids scooters etc but have the issue of electric in floor 3rd row seats. Is there anything available or do i just have to keep the seats stowed??

    Any comments/advice appreciated thanks

I have a toyota genuine rubber cargo mat. It's a great piece of kit, and you should be able to just fold it up behind the seats when you want to use them?

Btw, maybe add your location to your profile, and say Hi in the introductions thread

Thanks for that- not sure id have any boot space left though if i had to roll it up behind the seats as they seem quite bulky?? Toyota seem to have what im after for the klugers 3rd row seats, but not for the prado... Anyway i'll keep googling!

I use a $10 anti-slip mat ( from ALDI) and $10 tarp from Bunnings. If i need to use the rear seats, i do not even fold them, i just pull the seats up.

I've got the toyota rubber cargo mat and simply roll it up and stow it behind the rear seats when they're up. It takes up all of the remaining space but there's not enough space to put anything else anyway.

I have exactly the same mat, and do exactly the same as VXWesty... It's not that hard to do!

            Cheers,

I was sold a third party light weight fairly inflexible (non rubber) cargo mat when I bought my 150. There were no cutouts for the tie down hooks - cut them myself. The genuine Toyota rubber mat in my 120 was far superior. I don't use it now that I have built a drawer system. If you get one, get the genuine one!

Home built aluminium framed drawer system, 12 pin plug to van, High current wiring to cargo area, 7.5inch screen for 5 rear vision cameras (4 in van).

This is quite a bit not user friendly. Yes, you can roll the rubber mat and put it behind the 3rd seats, how about the cargo blind?

well if you're using the third row seats you wouldn't have it in the car anyway would you? and if it is in the car you can always pull it out and put it behind the seats?

Does anyone actually use the cargo blind?

I took mine out on day 2 and it's still out after 21 months.

I have never used my cargo blind and the area between the drawers and the back seat I have jumper leads, blanket, axe, machete (lantana removal device) spare shoes, wet weather gear.

I hate the cargo blinds... They just get in the way!

Took mine out as soon as I got home from the dealer. (It's also stored in the garage)

                          Cheers,

Same. Most pointless accessory to be given standard.

Ditto re the cargo blind. Mrs S got caught out offering a lift that needed the third row up and that was followed by a call home about where to stow it? I came out and stayed out. Interestingly, Mrs S is the proud owner of a new Rav and the cargo blind in that wil stow under the floor and out of the way. Can you do that with the GX?
                              Cheers,
