Toyota Prado 150 – Accessory Bracket for Rear Door

Knowing that one of the first things off-roaders do with their new vehicle is put on wider tyres, the boys at Kaymar have developed a combination product to allow a wider tyre to be mounted on the Prado's rear door wheel carrier and also cater for the addition of the most popular - and often first - accessories owners hang off their vehicle.
The bracket includes provision for a well braced and carefully shaped arm for securely mounting an HF or UHF aerial out to the right side of the spare wheel.
Also built into the bracket is accomodation for the Kaymar telescopic work light.
The bracket itself is manufactured from steel plate with laser cut accuracy, robot welded and zinc plated for a durable finish.
Fitting of the bracket is a straight forward operation taking only a short time to complete.
    Part
Wheel on door bracket including telescopic light mount, fittings and instructions
    K7120 RRP $122.00
    Telescopic work light
    K0500 RRP $260.00
Bracket for HF aerial - to suit K7120 ONLY
    K7123 RRP $95.00

I had a 9350 hanging on mine for 40,000 km since feb mostly off road tracks.

No issues and i have the spare wheel, Maxtracks, work light and autotune all hanging back there.

I've only got a UHF antenna on it, about 40,000 k's, no problems,

        thanks guys..

i ended up buying the kaymar mount, and will put a terlin antenna on the back initially, (not the one in the pics - thats an old RFDS antenna) and am looking for a codan 9350 at the right price currently..

cheaper than a bullbar and gives me a rear light mount as well

How much clearance is there between the antenna mount and door (near the GXL badge), is there anyway that flexing of the mount will cause it to hit the door and damage the paint?

Plently of room i dont have a photo of mine but the base on the Codan is sizable, i did get a 3040 to run there but it needed raising up so the spring would be level with the roof line to account for the whip in the trees at speed, where as the 9350 brought it clear of the roof the bottom foot print of the 3040 is bigger than a 9350.
