Hey guys,

Just some info regarding the Tigerz11 roof rack - steel - to fit the 150.

I purchased it in August and was waiting on the awning before it could be shipped. It was shipped on the 30th Aug with overnight freight, in Melbourne...basically from Lilydale to Somerville.

I didnt receive the item until the 7th Sept after many calls to fright company and Tigerz11. On Thursday 6th i called Tigerz11 frustrated with the inaction regarding delivery and was told they would chase it up and get back to me in 15 minutes...I'm still waiting!

Anyways freight company blamed Tigerz11 saying they shipped before they had items and i wasn't the only one and Tiger11 didn't say much at all expect for, 'oh that's not good...'

Anyways rack is good I'm happy with it. Finish is clean. Don't rely on instructions...turns out the mounting 'pieces' have different shapes to match the roof. Mount them first and then mount the rack on and bolt it down. Make life easier.

Over all for $680 delivered for rack and awning plus free high lift jack I'm happy. Yet to really test the awning but once i do ill post up some info.

If you're interested I will be selling my tigerz11 touring rack (that's the one to fit a roof top tent) I wasn't happy with the fit and finish and so have replaced with an ARB rack. Finally got it up on the for sale section, if interested PM me for details.

I have had a Tigerz11 Prado rack since Christmas and Ive been very impressed with its strength but the increase in fuel consumption is UNBELIEVABLE...astonishing drag! In fairness it may be all racks but I am amazed.
Some highway figures:
No rack: 10.4 lp100 (its has 2 inch lift ARB bar and BFG's)
Rack fitted: 13.4 lp100..I kid you not!!

G'day Adam,

Have you tested your awning yet.
I was looking at the Tigerz11 racks at the Adelaide 4x4 adventure show over the weekend and they looked like good value for money. My biggest concern is their durability. Have you taken yours over any rough terrrain yet, what sort of loads do you carry?

just got my tigerz 11 roof rack for 150.......well its ok, the quality is to be expected when your only paying $330, i agree put the brackets on the car 1st, then attach roof rack to them. i did find the brackets were incorrectly labelled, so we went by measurements (again they were all different), and in fact once bolted to roof they all angeled down, but once bolted to roof rack they levelled out. the instructions stated for 120 series, so i rang them in case i had wrong roof rack (which by the look of the brackets they are designed to suit the 120 more), and they were unsure, said the tech guy would call me in 15mins and still no return call. (i do believe their customer service has something to be desired for). in the end im happy with result and the product (keeping in mind cost), waiting to find out cost difference when i go away next weekend..........also im selling my rhino sport racks and shovel holders if anyone interested?
