gt3racer....Just a small question...why did you go so small for the cabling ?? I basically did the same but went for 16 mm cabling from the Main battery to the isolator and then onto the second battery.(400 amp Jumper lead actually)I'm running 6 mm cable from the second battery to a "fuse/relay box "then into the vehicle.I've found negligable voltage drop to Aux points in the car.

My guess is such heavy cabling is only required if you want to be able to overide the isolator to start the vehicle from the AUX battery. I have no intention of doing so, (I'm not even sure if you can with the BCDC) if i needed to i would just connect some jumper cables. Of course I did earth the aux batt to the chassis using much heavier cable but otherwise the 8mm cable to the rear is more than sufficient for my needs. I will at some point fit some additional curcuit breakers etc for additional points but for now I just wanted one point for the engel.2012 Prado Altitude TD4D...
