Removing blanking plates

Gday all. I just got a Prado GXL 2011 a few weeks ago and am trying to find my way around the dash to install a few new toys. Does anyone know how to remove the blanking plates in the centre console alongside the 4x4 switch and get wiring for some new switches to it?

I installed UHF cable to my mates 150. Most dash panels simply pull out. You do need to be firm but careful not to place too much pressure. Having said that the centre panel has four clips that are tight and ARB broke one when they installed his compressor switch and didn't say anything.

Hard to explain without photos so hopefully someone has some photos. If you take a look at some of the builds you should find all the information your looking for.

Cheers Hazza. I will have a crack at pulling the centre panel out, and wait and see what other advice comes my way

trim tools are cheap and prevent dash panel damage, i paid $35 for a full set of all different shapes, they are flexable plastic designed for gently prying the panels away.
