I just installed a new Hayman Reese towbar. It's their latest version which mounts to the chassis rail. Everything went smoothly with the actual towbar install, but I have a problem mounting the electrical plug onto the bar.
I am using a HR 7 pin flat plug, and the bar has a welded bracket for attaching the plug to. The problem is if I try mount the plug on top of the bracket, it won't fit because there is not enough height between the bracket and the bottom of the bumper bar. If I try mount the plug under the bracket, then the is not enough depth in the bracket.
Has anybody had a similar problem, or does anybody have a close up photo showing the electrical plug mounted onto the HR towbar?
Thanks,
Frank
