Installing addon switch

From the limited info I have read so far, it seems installing additional switches into empty slots in the cabin seems like a fairly lengthy task - involving removal of multiple trim panels.

Has anyone got a reference or any direction on how to gain access to driver side dash, empty slot next to the H4/L4 knob and empty slots near the transmission.

on the driver`side dash if you pry the side angled panel out from the side of the dash you can put your finger or thin screw driver through & flick tabs down and push them out,but only toyota type switchs will fit see sidewinders switches .
