  • Driving lights in ARB Bull bar

Just ordered an ARB bar and they are telling me that they need to fit their driving lights and that I should sell the OME lights on e-bay at an extra cost of $120 fitted.
Is this correct or do the OME lights fit into the ARB bar?
New to this forum, first time post.
Thank you for your replies in advance

I assume you're talking about the factory foglights? If so, then what ARB is saying is correct.

Just fitted an ARB Bull Bar with their fog lights, also put on 100W IPH HID driving lights.
It's now like day time at night, they are brilliant. worth the $840 fitted

They are right the OEM lights go in the bin.

Should have got a TJM T13 Outback bar instead, it re-uses the factory fog lamps.

With all the aftermarket products available (even through ARB themselves), I can't beleive someone hasn't developed a decent drop-in replacement for the ARB fog lights. It would be nice to see some sealed LED lights or even something brighter that is not "fog light" style, more an extra driving light down low.

I saw a picture on the patrol forum somewhere that showed an ARB bar that had been modified to have LF 140's and 170's installed in that spot, great idea but too much effort for me...

EDIT: See here, already posted on PP!

My thoughts exactly rwo, fog lights are a waste of time (here in WA anyway) I'd much rather see a spot light mounted there maybe a small HID and the fog light switch re-wired to the high beam circuit.

I'd prefer all fog lights banned, the amount of clowns driving around town with them on (with hid conversion) gives me the shits!

Hooray to Dusty74's comment. I have poor eyes and find headlights plus fog lights almost blind me. I refer to them as "attention seeking lights". Heard a rumour not legal to use when no fog (nsw) but even if it was illegal I cannot imagine this would be policed. Turn them off!

I've noticed a lot of motorbikes are now running illegal HIDs. If you think fog lights are annoying with HID wait to you get a bike with HID. The clown riders wonder why they're temporary citizens...
