      Heath,

How does that work? Do u just disconnect at the hose connection and then turn on the inline tap and then it also breaths back up through the lid??

Yeah rob that's pretty much it. The bottom connection is the 'male' and you can see a tap in the line. So I just open the tap, and disconnect the hose fitting, this can be done one handed, which is great while you are holding the billy with the other hand!

The top connector is open, and allows the jerry to breathe. When not in use you just re connect, and turn off the tap. This stops any drips.

To fill, open the tap disconnect and connect the male fitting to the garden hose, and away you go.

Make sense? Works pretty well IMO.

Yeah just one. I find, that's ample for 3-4 day trips with myself and two sons. Just spent 4 days in the high country and maybe used 15l

Very nice mate. Looks practical, it's good when you can really customise your own stuff, to meet your needs.

One thought, how does the back sit fully loaded? Your signature doesn't mention airbags, they might be required.

I found fully loaded, airbags were a must.

Looks fantastic Rob, top effort. I have been thinking of making my own since the driftas were stolen and after starting work on my daughters cubby house and seeing the images of yours it looks to be my next mod, love the drop down table!

                        Cheers Dan

                          Hey Dan,
Yeah, slight error in the storage system length (depth). It was the plan to leave the fold-down table in place but with the type of drawer handles I went with, stopped that idea. I ran out of time to modify it and will just go with storing the table in the gap between the 2 boxes. I'll revisit it when I get home.....Having the slide in table under the rack, making it easy accessable, may negate the need for it, will know after the trip

I'll let u know once it's fully packed. Last year it sagged a bit when I had medium duty coils in the rear. This time I have HD Dobinsons, I'm hoping they will handle it.

Just ran 12v speaker wire under the rear door rubber and up to the LED worklight on the Roofrack.... works a treat. Being a low current LED worklight, the speaker wire is small enough to easily slip under the Rear Door Rubber & still power up the light.... Will try it at night time to see is there is any loss in brightness, but I reckon it will be all good
