Prado 150 - Getting it ready for the track

I had plans for a rear diff lock but dropped them after finding the traction control works so well. Of course, there will be situations where a locker will be useful but I haven't found anything that the traction control can't handle so far.

A locker will mean that you will traverse obstacles at lesser speed and therefore gentler on the vehicle. But the traction control is pretty good for most situations.

Thanks for your input. I have found this forum invaluable. It's all arranged to be done. Just waiting on a few stray parts from ARB.. Let me know if you see any issues in the attached finalised list. I'm hoping it doesn't bump my insurance premium too much...

Extend Breathers - diffs, gearbox and transfer case breathers
Rear diff - Extend to engine bay just under bonnet (1/8" BSP threaded brass fitting with a 1/4" tail barb)
Transfer Case & Transmission Breathers ( 3 x breathers) (extend from bottom of engine bay to top of engine bay under bonnet - supposedly easier to detach and bring under the car, extend, then bring up.)
Front Diff - (Near the fuse box) extend to the top of the engine bay near the bonnet.
2 X Recovery points (front & back)
ARB Under Body Protection
Steinbauer Module
Switch (Provided) - (power & Illumination connected) - Located in empty spot near Diff Lock button.
Easy to remove connector for the throttle position. (For removal at services)
UHF radio installation (radio supplied) - antenna to bull bar left, Radio to passenger footwell, facing upward near centre console.
Powered by dual batteries (always on).
Driving Lights installation (supplied) - On when high beam on and switch on. Switch (provided) - (power & Illumination connected),
located in empty spot near Diff lock button.
