I removed the middle bar and the noise has reduced quite significantly.
I am now very suspect it is a combo of turbulance from the front bar and the support bracket slots (pic) I'll try and do a temp fill-in of the slots and see what happens

I thought that style of foot used to be a sealed on the inside surface too. Yes the innner support feet should be solid (or covered). Somethings a miss.
