2014 GXL Fog light upgrade

Hi Guys,

Newbie here in the forum, just wanted to ask if it is possible to replace your H16 (not 5202) 19W halogen fog light with a H11 30W Led light?

I saw from the other forum that the H16 (not 5202) is very similar to H11 socket but they haven't mentioned about if it is OK if Its going to be replace with a 30W led light. I'm just asking in the forum if this will be safe on the wiring/fuse?

Amps will go from 1.6A to 2.5A so should make any difference.

Had anyone have this upgrade? I have found a lot of 30W led in fleabay & they are just so tempting to buy & install for yourself. The problem is, will this invite disaster in the long run?

The main problem with fog lights are the Bl...y people who drive around with them on at night with the main lights on as well.
