Hi guys

Just running through some pricing now for my new 150.

Man have bullbars gorn up in price!!! my last bar i bought 5 years ago was an ARB with IPF lights for $1800! colour coded

So Ive been shopping around and have received the following

TJM $2389 inc gst (T13 steel) Now down to $2315
ARB $2244. deluxe winch (this quote does not show if GST is Inc.)

so my question is guys, Waddya pay

I have prices from both TJM and ARB just yesterday.

TJM Carlton NSW - An agent I think, not TJM directly. Prices fitted.

T13 - $2320
T17 - $2215 (Saharah Bar eq from ARB but now with bolt on 76mm alloy centre tube with steel channel)
T15 - $2845 polished alloy

ARB St Peters NSW - prices fitted One only style and only steel. Colour coding add $220
Deluxe Winch - $2270
Deluxe Non-winch - $2100

Was also advised I would need the ARB fog lights @ $129/pair as factory GXL won't fit in their bar.

These prices from both were supplied when I mentioned I was going to fit to 2 facelift GXL's. It seems there was no discount for buying 2.

Sahara bar from ARB and possibly an alloy still in development I'm told.

Toyota factory bar $2843 + fitting

I agree, the prices have jumped somewhat from the past few years. I'm considering if I will even bother given I don't bush bash, and live in Sydney now.

Yeah there steep! i have a revised price on the TJM now

Went to ECB factory and was quoted a whopping $2800 fitted non winch powder coated grey, they wont colour code to vehicle.

Looks like TJM is winning

Quote from TJM for T13 colour coded for $2050, but that is with heaps of other stuff, the quote supply only totals over $13,000. I would suggest getting it colour coded yourself, could save $100 there. Send me a pm if you want me to chase down a price for you lippa, might be a bit cheaper cause this guy knows how much I'm buying when I sell my cruiser...

My pricing up there includes fitting i might add. if your getting it for that fitted that's a cracking deal.

Mine was $2400, fitted, colour coded with fog lights and LED indicators. (ARB Deluxe white)

Nar, not fitted. I'm a mechanic and fit these for work so yeah, think I can do it myself. Made a deal with the missus when we bought the prado, she wanted to replace her corolla and upsize, I've now got a work ute so I don't drive my cruiser any more (8500km in the last 9 months including a trip to the cape) so I get to sell my cruiser but kit the prado out similarly (full bar work, lift, lockers, draws, etc).

Got some good prices from the recent Brissy 4x4 Show AFTER I had paid a deposit on a 1% Facelift deal.

Being a bit cheeky I asked Toyota if I could put the aftermarket accessories on the 1% financing and they said "YES"!
(I'm not sure why? - they already had the deal in the bag and 1% was going to cost THEM money)

They then said that they would ring the supplier and see if they could sharpen the price. Um... ok!

They got another 6% off for me.

Ended up with:
TJM T13 Steel Black
Airtec snorkel
Underbody guard
All fitted for $2360

(This price includes 4x4 show discounts: 20% off snorkel and Free under body guard with bulbar)
(...and yes the gear also qualifies for a generous Federal Govt discount of negative 33% :roll:


Side note: Delivery this week and I don't want to count my chickens... but I have to say that the service that I have got from the guys/girls at Torque Toyota Strathpine has been A-grade so far.

If it makes you feel better think about the price after I pay after LCT - $3140.

Personally, I don't think about this..... so I remain happy

got these prices yesterday in Port Macquarie,

ARB Delux - colour coded (flat white) including fog lights and fitting, $2490....$220 for colour coding
*no mention of a Sahara bar

TJM, T3 - colour coded (flat white) and fitting, $2334... not part of TJM sale
T13 steel - colour coded (flat white) and fitting, $2590...on sale with free Treds, I was quoted the same price 2 weeks ago, $400 for colour coding.
T13 polished alloy with snorkel deal - including fitting for both, $2985

I don't really like the look of any of these bars and they are all slightly different from the previous model. Not being able to see these on a vehicle also makes it a hard choice.
I also think these prices are too high and I might be better off getting prices from Sydney or Newcastle.

Ordered my ARB deluxe bar yesterday, color coded for 1800. Thats without installation
Also ordered the side steps and scrub rails color coded as well, thought might as well go all out

Sorry to grave dig a thread but what sort of prices are people getting now days? I got a price of $2846 for a colour coded ARB Deluxe winch bar with fog lights fitted and $2660 for a TJM for a TJM T13 colour coded and fitted. Guessing I'm paying the mining tax even after the boom has died ...
