Built my own accessory, a latch monitor system that checks that all the latches are fully unlocked on my Goldstream Crown before I wind it up. It also monitors the van's battery and tells if the voltage drops below 12 volts.

Works a treat!

Ohhhhh @ AJ120.

I asked them to install the pencil beam on the right and the spread on the left, it is normal to have it fitted that way due to a number of logical reasons. Why would you have the pencil beam located on the passengers side?

If you asked for it that way round then they messed up.

The pencil beam really doesn't matter left or right as it beam is long and you just point it down the road.

The spread beam is so you can see the sides of the road, note sides and not side! So wouldn't you logically want that as close to the centre of the road as possible?

Not exactly sure if there is a 'workshop manual', but you will find almost every conceivable detail of the mechanical and electrical construction of your vehicle, from detailed wiring diagrams (including ones showing you were all the cables are and what they do) through to torque settings for all significant components and bolts/nuts.

There is an option to subscribe for an hour (which costs 3 Euros), which should be plenty of time to explore and download content. I jumped on earlier this week to find some electrical diagrams (before wiring up my new driving lights and some additional 12V/USB power circuits).

Helpful Hint:
(1) Documents that open as a PDF can be saved locally.
(2) Some documents will open in a browser and you can't save locally - some maybe install a 'PDF Printer' (like CutePDF) beforehand, so you can print these documents to a PDF.

Material is copyrighted, so it is illegal to post the documents here - and for 3 Euros (about $6), I don't think it's unreasonable to quickly subscribe individually.

Only issue is there is perhaps too much detail, so takes a while to sort through the documents for the info. Also very little information on HOW to do things (like how to remove plastic trim). It's certainly not a Gregory's Manual !!

I presume hrs was meant to be rhs and les was meant to be lhs. Lots of people say to do it that way but it doesn't make sense to me for the reasons I posted above.

Neither is right or wrong, just depends on what you want to achieve. Personally I would like to ditch my spread and get 2 spots.

I've come close to getting a light bar a couple of times but haven't convinced myself its worth it. 2 spots on the Bullbar and 2 spreads really angled out wards in the fog light position would be the best bet for me I reckon.

I've got the 2 spreads and 1 spot in the middle with the spreads slightly facing outwards. So i get both sides of the road lit up and a bit of distance as well.
That works for me

Fit a set of draws (including disassembling and assembling them as you have to with the ARB draws) and a cargo barrier and time yourself. Remember to start with a completely assembled car, ie, rear seats fitted, etc. Now charge yourself $100 an hour and see why they charge $600...

From memory SA has followed Qld and odd numbered lights, single light bars are legal provided they are fitted symmetrically around the centre line.
