From what I'd seen on the website, ECB only do the alloy bar.

Not a problem, I'll let you know (I'll do my best to remember!).

I thought I heard Ironman were releasing a new bar for the facelift model, does anyone have any news on that?

Funnily enough, mine was fitted today. Haven't got any pics or anything as yet. The build quality looks pretty good I think, and it looks good on the car. I'm a bit in two minds on how good the colour match is though, it looks close to the rest of the car but slightly different. This was the first thing the missus pointed out when she had a look this evening and I hadn't mentioned anything. Might have to bring it up with the salesman again, although I doubt it will get repainted.

If you want to, you're welcome to have a look before getting yours fitted. I'm southside, and work in Symonston.

The colour coding on my ARB bull bar and steps are spot on, it's not hard to colour code a black (ebony) vehicle. I think it all comes down to where did they get it done because some of them do not give a @#!* and to them close enough is good enough.

I agree. If it was colour coded I'd not have as much of an issue. This is meant to be colour matched, where I had to take my vehicle to the paint shop to have it matched. It's not that it looks bad, but it is just not as close a match as I expected.

I'm not a painter, but I'm wondering if it has to do with the black powder coating underneath changing the end result somewhat.

That looks great. I'm sold on the colour coding and will get this sorted in the new year. Same colour!

I am surprised no one has even thought of the Opposite Lock bar for the new Prado. I saw a couple of them when I was traveling in Queensland during October. I posted a couple of photos on the picture thread. Here is one of them. Has opposite lock just disappeared from peoples shopping list these days?

I don't mind the TJM T-13. I can't afford a new vehicle so it is really a mute point but it is still nice to look.

It's funny I've got an op lock bar on my 120, if you sit on lock and arb next to each other they are very similar, however it's when you look closer do you realize where the extra money goes. Next time I would be buying an ARB unit,

Thanks for the info Ghost. The quality needs to be there. I guess the 120 may have been photocopied from an ARB bar. I am looking to replace my 20 year old Paj which has ARB front to back and top to bottom and looks like it will easily outlast the car.

Yes looks good, only issue that I have is the two antenna mounts aren't level to each other. I'm waiting on feedback from TJM through my local shop.

Shame that attractive package is let down by the road tyres. I understand having a bullbar for protection against animal strikes but a winch with those tyres just seems wrong.

Sorry for going OT, the bar itself suits the shape. I have a T13 on a pre-facelift 150 and am happy with it apart from some rust issues which TJM have looked after for the most part. I stress to add that the bar came on the vehicle so I can't be 100% certain what life it led prior to my purchase.

Its maybe the start of his new build.
