For the rear bar for a 150, ARB &TJM both sell the Kaymar rear bar. At least that is what both companies quoted me on, TJM was cheaper too. The only other one I'm aware of if made by MCC, but it isn't a wrap around style one and looks a bid odd in my oppinion.

Just my 2 cents. Unless you are doing proper off-roading or unless you are traveling in remote places, I personally wouldn't buy a bar at all.
Why?
- A bar is great for mounting a winch if you are getting off the beaten track (and obviously you have a winch).
- A bar is fantastic at preserving the drive train in event of a big roo strike at speed. It will in all likelihood it will not stop all damage to the vehicle but it will probably mean you can drive it somewhere to get help if your wheel alignment is beat up ect. - so it is essential in remote areas.
- A bar will add significant weight to the front of the vehicle (all the more if fitted with accessories). This will make a noticeable difference to fuel consumption, handling, braking distances and general wear and tear on suspension. Many people upgrade their springs to cope with the additional weight - more money!
- Cost - a decent bar is well over 2 grand by the time it is fitted.
There are other places you can mount lights and radio antennas that still look good and are functional.
For the record, I'm not anti-bar! They are fantastic in the circumstances I initially listed and they will offer you more places to mount things. I just believe many people buy them without really thinking through the pros and cons.
When I come to doing the big loop I will certainly get one. While I'm mostly around town and on beaches, I'll save my coins!

To date I have knocked down several Roos , many small trees and even a couple of other things that I'm not sure what they where. The last one was 50 km west of Armidale at Easter this year. If you are traveling anywhere other than to drop the kids to school, a bar is almost an essential. I do approx 35000-40000 km a year, most of that for work. Average 10000 outside the city.
Buy a bar if you want one, don't buy one if you don't. Yes it will cost you a couple of grand to set up with winch, lights etc and use a bit more fuel.
If you see a greeny you can always put it to the test before some dumb gov official decides we no longer need one them, until then I will always have a steel one on my 4wd.
My 2 cents.

I dont really understand what the big deal is with cutting the guard. if its done neatly and the black edging is put on it looks fine. My ARB bar looks good, it works well and after years of selling them they are pretty reliable. Pretty freaking expensive but thats just ARB for most things.
if anyone wants my old 150 facelift series ally toyota original bullbar they are welcome to PM me, oh yeah and the 1.4 million pieces of underbody stuff that comes with it.

Knowing that It will protect the internal front drive train and my family is a good enough reason for me to buy the best bull bar on the market without decreasing the overall looks of the vehicle. It's expensive but it's worth every dollar, my vehicle transformed into a beast.
With the right suspension set up and bigger aggressive tires, the Prado 150 is a head turner on the road. The AFN bar does look the bomb but I decided to support the Australian brand market and it also came down to how much of a hassle it was going to be to fit it and the total cost.
If I was going to save my coins, I would've bought a Kluger instead of a Prado. Their's so many aftermarket parts and accessories for a Prado, it's never ending. I want them and I will get them.
