  • 60 litre ARB Fridge will it fit in 150?

    Hi All
I am thinking about upgrading from my 40 litre engel to a ARB 60 litre fridge has any one managed to fit one of these into their prado 150 on a slide? Also wanting to get something similar to the MSA Fridge cage to go over the top of it. If it does fit in ok did it leave you with much room for your luggage?

Haven't picked the vehicle up yet should be this week so haven't even tested how well the 40 litre will fit in.I would be fitting it to a GXL model with the rear seats still in on a removable piece of ply.
    All advise appreciated.

The 60L will physically fit in mine but I have taken the 3rd row seats out. I have the aux battery in the back and the fridge is too long to sit behind the battery but there is enough length on the other side. I have an ARB 60L on a no name slide in the Cute and the overall length of the fridge is the longest dimension (825mm). As to whether it will fit with a brand name slide and on the 3rd row you will have to measure. Also how you mount it might be a challenge too.

I can fit both a 60L waeco and 80L engel side by side at the same time in mine with third row still installed. Just had to slide the left rear seat forward 100mm for the engel.

I have a 65L Waeco in mine on the Waeco slide with the 3rd row seats still in place. Don't know how the Waeco's length compares with the Engel though.

I have a set of black widow drawers with fridge slide and 60l Waeco sitting on top and it fits no worries. Can't open the lid without sliding it out, but that's never an issue.

I fit a 80lt weaco in the back of ours with no issues. I don't have a slide or anything, just on top of the folded down seats.

ok sounds like it will fit, I guess I am just going to have to wait until I get the vehicle and measure it up. Hoping to pick up a special at 4wd camping show coming up in Perth in November....Fingers crossed
