I could get hold of a Prado 150 2012 ARB bull bar for a good price but I'm not sure if they'd fit onto a facelift 2014 GX. I know ARB has a specific facelift version but could the older one still be fitted? Any insights here?

ARB's price list has this:
(3221760) 2009 - 2013 Models without Front Parking Sensors
(3221800) 2014 onwards face-lift GX & GXL Models
One guy I reached at ARB said 'lights on the facelift sit lower' but wouldn't know if the old model would fit. So I think I will skip the deal if no overwriting knowledge exits.

While they do look very similar externally, I am pretty sure someone posted on here that the mounting setup is different and the bar sits closer to the car (and by the looks of it a bit lower). Without comparing them side by side to see the actual differences, you would be a braver man than me to purchase and try fitting...
I know the new bar does come with LED's though, maybe that was ARB's justification for a new part number

The 150 facelift has a larger grill so they dropped the bar down a bit to cater for that. So they are different for sure.
I'm sure the older bar wouldn't cause any overheating problems? But Toyota obviously increased the grill for a reason? Unless its just looks!
Cant comment on the mounting points being different.
