Maxtrax bag versus Treds bag

Hi all was just wondering if any one knows if maxtrax will fit into a Treds carry bag? I see the treads are slightly narrower and slightly shorter but wanted to save some money and just use a treds bag as the more than half the price of the maxtrax bag.
All ideas appreciated
