Left is easier if you intend to have a trek table or similiar and also lets you get into the fridge with the door is only partly open.
    Cheers

We mounted on RHS. When at camp often we leave the car and trailer coupled. Jack knife the car 90 deg to trailer and the fridge is easy to use on its slide. Also easy to get access to the crates on the LHS under the false floor for the dog.

I have mine on the LHS.
        Drawer on the RHS.
will be doing table on door so all will be accessible.
        So outlet on the LHS.
I also connect the RHS outlet as I ran the cable down that side of the car.

I don't generally 'mount' my fridge... I prefer the wife.

But when I put the fridge in the Prado, it is on the LHS, is can get to it easily when the camper is hooked up.

On long trips, we run 2 x fridges in the back, a 50ltr Waeco for food, and a 40ltr Engel for Beer. Some would say I should have more beer than food, but I argue that the Engel is more reliable, therefore my beer will always stay cold. The food can perish, but at least I'll have cold beer!

Cheers, after weighing up the pros and cons I am thinking I might go with a left mount.

Mine is RHS. This way the Drifta draws can be opened to provide a shelf or access to goodies with fridge out and down. MSA drop fridge slide. Also when you have the camper hooked up you can access LHS draw and have fridge down. If the other way no access to RHS draw unless you walk around camper and squeeze past the door of the Prado. Cheers mmm beer.

I have 3 door sx which has a shelf on right where I installed a couple extra cigi sockets so my fridge is on right. I'm about to install side by side drawers though and one suppliers site said go left cos fridge lid can clash with top of door. Anyone had this problem with drop slide on top of drawer?

Yes, when I first did my drawers I dummied up fitting the MSA drop slide to the right side on my Prado. The problem is the handle for the drop slide can't swing over itself to allow the fridge lid to open, it hits the top of the door. You could move it over a bit, but would waste too much room. Left is the only way to go with a MSA drop slide.

After thinking on it bit more I'm leaning toward fitting drawers with a roller floor (about $170 extra) on the right , as cash allows ill put a MSA drop slide on the left ant the roller floor can be used as a table (unless Im fully loaded). Although I change my mind each day. Ill have to make it up quick as i'm ordering the drawers prop next week!!

You only run one fridge? Where do you put the meat?
