I have the medium length arm which is good for a center console position. It holds a 10.5" tablet firmly in position and still allows access to all switches and controls. The arm went in and has never been moved or removed since. The tablet is in use on every trip. Some pictures here: http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread...illbilly-Style
I have a x-grip one for a galaxy tab 4 8". Works sweet as. The arm was the longest one I think its around 6 or 7 inches. Any shorter you wont be able to get it low on the windscreen.
I have one . Great unit . Mine was a standard length . Consider that the longer the length the more it will move around .
03 grande v6 , with added stuff that makes it go places . RTFM people !

I use a RAM floor mount off the passenger seat floor bolt.
Keeps the pad out of way of airbags and stuff.
For windscreen I'd suggest the "c" arm which is the longest one.
Windscreen suction mount fell off a couple of times while traveling around the Mojave desert on a shoot with Maxtrax. The heat on the screen and the weight of a iPad (1 or 2) was too much.
I bought the same as piggy mentioned and it's always worked a treat.
Only problem is that every passenger that gets into the car pretends it's a gear stick and after a while needs to be tightened at the floor bolt

I have an iPad mini off a double suction cup on window, think it is a medium arm with X-grip, works well.

This is good timing, I'm just about the pull the trigger on the triple suction mount, ipad 3 mount and long arm to join the two. I'll try and get to johnny appleseed tommorow and see how it goes.

Johnny Appleseed is great, they tried all the combos on mine in the vehicle to get it just right.I have used them a bunch of times and always great to deal with.
In the end for my iPad air, I went with the ram dual suction mount and medium arm. Fits perfectly for the 120. I found the trick was also resting the bottom lip on my dashmat which allowed me to get away without the triple suction mount.
Cheers

That was the plan mate, I'm hoping to rest it on the top of the dash mat too. I was going to go the triple just to be sure, I would hate to regret only getting the double later. I'll see how it goes because I wouldn't mind getting a phone holder for my work ute too.
Cheers,
Andy

Well, slipped into Johnny Appleseed today and got my mount. Ended up with a triple suction cup base, two of the ball thingys, the long arm and the iPad 2 mount. I went with the long arm because the medium just looked too short. I'll build my mechano set and have a play with it when the missus gets home. Best thing is the guy there said if it's not right just slip in and they will swap it over for me! Oh, and he matched the package price even though I got a long arm not a medium, must of felt sorry for me, champion.
