  • Titan rear drawers

Rumour has it that 4WD Super Centre will release rear drawers to fit 120/150ser (for delivery in August), in the next few days.

Does anyone know if the Titan drawers are worth looking at?

A mate has them in his GU Pootrol, shittyest built draws ever, and apparently a pain to assemble and fit. The fridge slide is impossible for my wife to use as it's too heavy and the near empty draws aren't far behind. Compare that to our fully loaded black widows which she can open fine. I would suggest either saving a bit more and getting a set that will be easy to use and last or build your own.

Cheers mate. I was actually looking at the Drifta set, but when you see the titan's at half the price you have to ask the question.

The colour of the blue carpet on them says enough. Honestly all that stuff from the 4wd supa store is crap. Stay away!

I actually scored a set of Titan drawers on eBay for pretty cheap without knowing they where Titan drawers. When I got them home I quickly on sold them. They are very heavy at 80kgs empty and the quality is not that great but at the price you get them for it was to be expected

Hey longhorn , spend the extra coin on the Drifta, you will thank yourself. The quality is there and surprisingly strong & very lightweight for timber .

If you do go down that way , I wish I would have had 5-6 days off. 8-9 hours travel and lost almost a day having them fitted and came back Saturday as we would gave got back around 7.30 Sunday night and have to work & school next day with a wet camper trailer that needed to be opened up & dryed out and unpacked . The Barrington tops NP looks spectacular so we,ve put it on our list of places to spend at least a week in. Anyway back to drawers . If you,re contemplating these drawers and wanted to have a look at some & see how they slide etc , just pm me & your most welcome to have a look as I'm only about 45mins away.
                      Cheers Matt

Are there any other opinions on these apart from someone's wife not being able to open them? After checking the patrol forum there seem to be really good reviews for them, are prado owners a bit poncy?

I've ordered a set of Titans, need to make a few adjustments to make them fit, from what I'm told, nothing to major.. They are for a 120 prado, and also need to make adjustments to one of the rear wings to fit..
Yeah the weight is up there, but removing the 3rd row seats, will counter that a bit, so in short, for a third of the price, I'm not to worried.. Have heard some good feed back on them.. $550 delivered.. Can't complain.. As for quality, we'll see... Cheers Odog

I have them fitted to our 200 series upgrade Prado, had to mount them on 12mm ply to space them up high enough so lock tongue cleared the rear flap and als had to trim about 12mm from the side wing covers so they fitted. They are a good bit of gear given the price
