  • Need fitting instruction manual for Cargo Barrier - Prado 150 7 seater version - Genuine Toyota

    Hi all

Just acquired a genuine Toyota cargo barrier, the 7 seat version off Ebay. Was just wondering if anyone has a copy the fitting instruction manual that can upload or lend me for the weekend.

    Thank you

It is just a couple of pages and a real PITA. I threw mine away, perhaps Toyota would let you copy the pages. It is critical that you get a copy of the installation templates for drilling holes, otherwise it is near impossible.

Unless the design has changed. I had to drill holes which seems completely stupid in a modern car. Maybe the latest versions have mounting points, would be interested to know.

No, nothing has changed because i just managed to get hold of the mounting instruction manual in PDF (with templates) file and yes, i need drilling, need to remove the 3rd row seats to do so.

Can someone help and confirm if the 3rd row seats are still usable after i've mounted the barrier?

            Thank you

                Sorry i should have said...

Once i have mount all the hardware to mount the barrier, if i don't use the barrier, can i still use the 3rd row seat? I'm asking this because i see some quick release that Toyota design so that you can remove or refit the barrier with ease.

                Thanks

Then Yes - If the barrier is not in place when the third row seats, are you should be ok (be mindful of protruding mounting bolts though).

How did you get the instructions? I have the same issue & am wanting to install the barrier myself.

                      Cheers

Do you have details of the quick release? Mine is a PITA to remove
