  • Allow or steel

Before I go to any 4x4 supplier and they give me "their" reasons, I would love to hear from the real world people.

Should I go for alloy or steel winch bar?

Alloy is lighter and is fine for the carpark bumps.
Steel will give you better protection from animal strikes.

You will need a winch cradle if you want to mount a winch on an alloy bar

Most steel bars have winch cradles too.

@Two89w There are plenty of threads on here already covering this subject, do a search on Google with "site: pradopoint.com" at the end of the search keywords.
