  • CFX65 dual zone in 150

Hi I'm wondering if anyone is running a CFX65 dual zone waeco on top of drawers in the back of a 150 prado, Im wanting to put one in my 2.8L GXL once my drifta drawers are in and was hoping someone would have a pic of one in so i can get an idea of how much space it will take up.
    Thanks

It will fit no worries, but they do take up a lot of room. I have mine mounted at floor level:

    Cheers Brad

Remember Parmo, the GXL floor level is higher than the GX floor level as the GXL has rear seats, whereas the GX model doesn't, and has a lower rear cargo area floor. Are you going to remove your rear seats and rear floor area and make a new rear floor, or are you going to add your drifta drawers straight on top of your rear cargo area, above the rear row seats?

Thanks brad, the drawers add 320mm so shouldn't be a problem i don't think.

Hey brogers the kit I'm getting comes with a false floor so ill be removing the seats.

Perhaps this line drawing of a CFX65 might help?

Slightly off topic - I've got a CFX65 DZ (never use the DZ, always all "fridge") that runs well for the first two days, then slowly "warms up" - noticed a slight (not enough for me to think it would be an issue) build up of ice on the "cold" end. I usually set it to 2 degrees. Anyone else experience the same thing?
