Torque Controller Lock Up Kit

We are about to take possession of an 18ft off road caravan and will tow with Prado 150/2012 able to tow 2500kgs. Suggestion has come for us to install a Torque Controller Lock Up whilst other advice is to use Sports mode. Has anyone advice on these suggestions please?
