    Re: arb gear

No idea about a bullbar. How long was the 200 out before ARB brought out a bar for that? I would be surprised if the OME shocks for the 120 didn't fit the 150. ARB Sidewinder has done a suspension lift in a 150 GXL but this was not ARB gear (http://www.pradopoint.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=7547). A locker would probably be a long way off. Without a bar the currently available range of IPFs are useless. I would also think that regardless of the vehcile being legally able to sport HID headlights, the driving lights can not be HID unless you have washers for them.

Driving lights can be HID, its only the headlights if HID (aftermarket) that need washers and auto level.

          Hi guys,

The ARB bar has a awiting list if you are ooking for one. I was told by the guys in Perth that it will be very simular to the 200 series bar.
There is apparently over 130 bars on order already and they produce them in lots of 60 at a time. If you are keen to get one , I suggest you place a reserve on one now.
I've got a 150 on order destined to arrive end of Feb, and ARB believe that the bars will be available by then. They are also testing for a recommended suspension up grade after the bar and winch is dropped on the front end.
2010 Graphite D4D GXL, Tracklander tent top roof rack, BFG's, factory tow bar, Black Widow 900 draws with fridge slide, Black Widow Half Barrier with top shelf centre barrier combo, ARB Deluxe Winch Bull Bar (no colour coding), Tabor 9000 winch with Dyneema Rope, Complete Dobinson suspension upgrade and 2'' lift, Dual Battery System, Upgrade wiring to rear fridge plug, ARB On-Board Compressor, Hannibal Classic Tent with Jumbo Fly 1.4M, GME 3440 , HID Lightforce 170's, 2 x 1kg extinguishers.snorkle

            All,

I have been looking for Snorkel for my Diesel GXL. After no reponse from ARB I emailed Safari direct & their reply was:

"It is currently under R & D and we are hoping to release it around Late April/ May."

ARB have never made a snorkel for any vehicle. Why would they make one for a 150?

                From the Safari Web Site:

"If you would like to enquire about Safari products, please refer to the Dealer List for contact details of your nearest Safari dealer."

& ARB are on top on the list as Victorian distributors.

That why I went to ARB first.

                  Hi All

I was at ARB on Friday and they have released part numbers for the bars and front suspension upgrade, the rear suspension is the same as the 120. They will take your name but still don't have photos or pricing, although they expect them to be the same price as the 120 series.

                  Regards, Richo.

woohoo have bar ordered and they said whole new suspension being done for 150 it will be 50mm whereas apparently you can get the 120 suspension but its only 40mm this all from a tech bulletin they had....

I will be keen to see their suspension kit for the kakadu, particularly with the rear being airbag suspension set up.

Dosn't look too bad there Ironman4x4. Does the existing plastic under the bar get cut back like I believe they do on the 200 series or does it remain intact?

Yes, the original bumper is cut underneath to provide clearance for the new bar and bracket, very similar to many of the other modern style vehicles of today.

I reckon the ARB bar wont look all that different from the ironman bar, other than being slightly flashier in terms of welds and fittings.
