I will have my ARB winch bar and Warn winch fitted on the 14th of April and post some pictures of the ABR-SIDEWINDER HID's soon after. They are 205mm and should be a good size.

      Regards

      Derek.

                Hi Derek

You are a guru with the photo software, nicely done, I see your fog lights are in the bar as well now, do they fix up the shadowing?

                Regards, Richo.

These photos are with the fog lamps switched on. The shadow is worse with them switched off. I will take a photo this weekend if I get a chance.

                      Hi Guys
Where has anyone mounted their driving light switch? There are a few blank switch places on my GXL. Has anyone bought a switch that fits neatly in one of the blank switch places? Where are you picking up the high beam power wire, in the cab or in the engine bay?
                      Thanks for advice in advance.

                        Hi Mark

I have IPF's and they have a switch that looks like a small computer mouse, I brought the cable out where the steering column shroud is and mounted the switch on the flat part of the dash with double sided tape besdie the mirror controls. It is quite unobtrusive and only the driver can see it. I picked up the high beam wire from behind the headlight as it is not covered by loom tube there.

                        Regards, Richo.

I have an ARB bar without fog lights (don't get much fog here in Central Qld), I fitted HID modded IPF 900xs spots using the IPF wiring loom but rewired it to use the fog light switch instead of the mouse switch and ran it through the high beam circuit. I like the genuine look and the switch from newprotech doesn't fit the new 150 series. You could do the same with other wiring looms or your own wiring loom.

                          Cheers

The Ironman HID's seem to work very very well, and I am extremely happy with how they look

Re: Driving lights, which ones to fit to the 150???

I am tossing between Narva 225, hella 4000 and lightforce 240. I have an ARB bar fitted. I don't want the lights to protrude beyond the bar in case we bump something which will probably damage the lights. Additionally I am concerned about whether any of these lights may cause excessive shadowing with my arb bar.
Can anyone comment on these concerns as to which lights would be best. Comments on quality ,best lights are also welcome but I suspect a lot of this will come down to personal choice.
