OK, I looked over the other post on the standard camera and dash screen to change up for selectable reverse but this Q is a bit different and didn't want to hijack that thread.
Obviously the AV lead from the camera must connect to the screen but from pics in the other thread I can't tell where the AV lead connects to - is it direct to the back of the screen unit or through a loom plug and then on to the screen?
I'm assuming that it will be the same camera and fitting connection as used for the 4.3" screen in the optional head unit for new Prado and Hilux if you don't go for top shelf 7" full Nav system?
Just wondering how difficult it might be to go without the camera for an up front start and add one later eg. aftermarket and not the factory job.
