Re: NUDGE BAR Fitted
Hi all first post. Just picked up my Prado and put the factory nudge bar on it. The dealer reckoned it had spot light tabs on it. Ahhh big disappointment there. No tabs for spot lights or for a UHF aerial. I'd advise against the factory nudge bar as it is IMO a waste of money. For a few hundred more I could have gone to TJM, oh and the dealer mentioned that TJM don't do nudge bars with tabs for the Prado. Well TJM themselves may not but they do have other suppliers. In the end, not happy.
Has anyone welded some spot light tabs on and if so what lights did you put on and do they suffer from vibrations?

Re: NUDGE BAR Fitted
Looks like a great fitting job, I saw one in Brisvegas the other day and it was crooked, left side down looking from the front.

Re: NUDGE BAR Fitted
Hey bobcat67
I like you got the factory fitted nudge bar with dealer fitted driving lights. The day b4 delivery they rang me and said that the bar had no driving light lugs, so they arranged for the bar to be sent to an alloy welder and for them to be fitted. I get the bar fitted next Thursday, along with the rest of my electrical accessories so will let you know how it goes.

Bit harder to mount an aerial but the other option would then be to locate off the roof rails.Nick
