Hi Guys
Went to ARB today in regards to the paint rubbed off from the bar moving around and they were happy to fix this for me. They will make extra clearance around these points and spray the bar to repair it. Its booked in so will update it when its done. Happy so far!!!

Hi Folks

On the Mt Mee trip last weekend Dave DG has an ARB bar on his 150 as well and the gaps between his bar and the cut away bumper were a fair bit smaller than mine, so I guess it is up to the installer, my bar looks further away than Derek's and Peter's.

picked up my 150 kakadu last week fitted with sahara bar, winch, duel batteries, gme 3440 uhf, kaymar rear telescopic work light & more than happy with the ARB service work and effort. didn't hesitate when I insited the rear wheel cover had to go back on and all round top job :lol: .
Only prob is the the front camera is far too obscured (a problem I knew would likely be there as ARB have warnings) however I have spoken with the boys at ARB and they are keen to work together to find a fix. Thinking of refitting camera to front of a winch control box. anyone else seen any ideas as a fix??

I am looking at getting the sahara bar fitted to my vx.

I was told that to get around this on the Kakadu, the control box should be relocated to either under the bonet or behind the bar. (perhaps just trying to sell me the wireless remote...)

Are you able to post close up picks of the bar - I am interested in seeing how the front parking sensors have been fitted. Are they just relocated from the original bar?, if so can you paint them? I was thinking of leaving it black but think that white sensors on a black bar may look a little strange)

Finally got the car back from ARB Central in Perth and from the pictures it looks great (missus picked it up Im in a different state atm) Will post up some more pics in the car build up section.The bullbar was colour coded to match the silver prado.

You realise your Prado's not silver right? :wink:

Nah, looks great. After seeing an ARB Deluxe bar in the flesh the other day, this is the way I'll be going too.

Hi Madge

I am getting an ARB deluxe bar fitted in about 3 weeks. After much discussion the guys at ARB have worked out a way to mount the front camera into the bar with the smallest amount of camera poking through. I'll try to get photos to post when they get it done and before they fit the bar to the car.
