Antenna on roof rail

Thanks Piratepete. I pick up my ICOM IC-450 today and am determined to get the install right.

I mounted a Yaesu FT-857D under the passenger seat with Velcro, and the cables go under the door sill, to the front.
In there, I put the remote display of it on top of the rearview mirror, and the remote microphone is mounted to the right of the steering wheel (for AU that would then be on the left)
The power cable goes directly to the battery, with a fuse box.
And the Antenna is mounted on the Ironman roobar. (that was a bad idea cuz the vibrations killed the antenna), I will remount the antenna on the roof rack (small), and a large one on the rear bumper.
