  • Waeco 50 fit in the back of a 5 door?

    Hi all

First post - great site. I'm about to press the go button on a GXL T/D 5 door wagon - but really want to know if me Waeco 50 will fit in the boot and be able to open/accessible (with or without a cargo barrier)? Is anyone using a waeco 50.

I'm a little surprised about the boot space on this new model at last look (especially the raised floor) - after measuring it up not as big as I thought it would be (given the external measurements on the car). All else stacks up - just need to know there is enough space in the back - but it will be smaller than my current truck.

Thanks very much - any help greatly appreciated.

No problems at all all, it fits into a 120 with stacks of room, can't seem the 150 been that different, just a bit higher. Check ABR sidewinders build up, i think he has a bigger fridge than that.

Yeh its should fit fine, had our waeco 80L in the back over the weekend fitted fine and could open the lid no worries at all. Had it plugged into the power socket as well and had no dramas with that either.

            Hi Mark,
Where did you get the draw system fitted and did they remove the seats to allow for the install?
            Cheers

I have the Waeco 60lt and when I have a kid in one back seat it takes up most of the other side. It is put in long ways as this is the only way it'll fit. I am actually selling this 60lt and going for the 45lt as it will fit sideways across the back and leave room for a few bagsinfront of it. (50lt and 60lt have the same size footprint)
I often have 4 x adults and 2 x kids in the car for day trips.

Any-one want to buy a great condition 60lt Waeco with insulation cover?? Retail for $1299.00 - selling for $850 neg.
