  • OCAM Bull Bar Install

Recently a friend suggested I buy a steel bull bar for my Prado 150 (2011) sourced from OCAM IN Victoria - he bought one for his 120 series as well. He kindly brought it up to Sydney for me on his way home from Melbourne. I have since discovered that it comes with NO instructions for installation. I contacted OCAM and they confirmed that they don't supply instructions. The cut out pattern that was delivered separately by courier was minimal (2 A4 pages, blank, cut to shape and taped together) with NO indications as to how to position the pattern on the bumper. NO pinch weld strip either - wishful thinking perhaps. Firstly, is this normal, to supply an accessory such as a bull bar to the general public without fitting instructions etc.? Secondly, help!

I'd suggest downloading fitting instructions for an ARB bar and following them- it's not going to be exactly the same, but it'll give you a very rough idea of what's going on. Not sure why they wouldn't give fitting instructions, my local ARB were only too happy to email me them and I didn't even buy the bar from them as it was a gumtree job.
