  • ARB Summit bullbar fitment

    Hi All,
Had the local ARB place fit a Summit bar to my MY19 GLX last week and found the LHS OEM plastic inner guard flopping around on the ARB black metal undertray that comes as part of the Summit bar.
Should I consider this normal or go back to ARB to attempt to get them to do something about ?

Looks about right. Towards the recovery point I have a hole in the side plate which has a heavy duty zip tie that secures the plastic "wheel guard".
150 GXL - ARB bar, Winch, 9" spots, rhino rack, 32" LED bar, Snorkel, 2" lift, AT's, Dual batts, UHF, 40L fridge, KAON cargo barrier - rear door table

Seems consistent with the fitment on my car. Had my installed a few months back and noticed every time i go over low speed bumps ie speed humps / kerbs /slow off road bumps, the plastic would make a noise as it moved. i went back to ARB they offered to secure it somehow if i wanted but i just ended up securing it with few spots of sikaflex between the plastic and metal under tray lip just to stop it flopping around and its flexible enough and easy to remove if i have to.
