ARB base rack - how decide the width 1155mm or 1285mm

The ARB base rack come in two widths, suitable for the Prado 150 GXL, 1155mm and 1285mm. I was told the 1285mm is the most popular. The cost is the same, and wider rack is an extra 1.4 kg in weight. Is there any advantage in the extra width?

Go for the wider option. Can carry ply sheets if required.
