I've bought a 5" screen tomtom and would like to see it fitted where the useless screen is on my VX. Any idea whether it is possible to reprogramme the reverse camera (using the USB port which can connect to my GPS) to run through the GPS? I'll then put the GPS pretty much permanently where the screen is. I bought my VX without the upgrade to a nav pac because I was quoted $3800 and think that is rediculous! Thanks guys.

Re: Can the reverse camera run through gps screen?
I have just been researching the same thing. Interfacing a reverse camera into the USB port of my old Navman. Early research says no for me Hope you have better luck.
I have seen some people in forums successfully turn there GPS screen into a moitor for the camera but I believe the GPS needs to have AV input ports of some description. Will be watching this thread closely.2000 Prado RV6 ~ TJM Type 15 Steel Bullbar ~ Uniden 400SX-RM & GME4702 Ant ~ Front Tow/Recovery Hooks ~ ARB Recovery Kit ~ ARB CKMP12 Air Compressor ~ DIY Rear Door Trim & Table ~ Extended Diff Breathers ~ Safari Snorkel ~ Wireless Reverse Camera ~ Iron Ox Full Length Roof Rack ~ Looong Wish List ...

I have just got a Hema 5" Navigator and it has an AV input for reverse cameras, I'm going to leave the standard reverse camera and display and plug a camera mounted to the bullbar as Derek form ABR has done so I can see what I'm going to hit.
