iphones too quiet

Ive adjusted the settings in the car but our new iPhones when synced with the car receive very quiet calls. ,( its not just this old bloke who cant hear).
Others must have experienced this. iphone 11 and 12. 2021 Prado.

Same issue here. very quiet, even when volume is Max.

Also, the quality of the call is extremely poor... sounds fine in the Prado, but other person always tell me it sounds like Im underwater.

Regarding outgoing audio problems try angling the centre air vents down if the cabin ventilation fan is running. If angled upwards seems to cause interference with microphone which is in the overhead console area. (Same as outside calls on windy days)

in your car, on private property maybe in your garage with the roller door down so the po po cant see you...... sorry

make a phone call to a friend, try using the buttons on the side of your phone to turn the volume up so that you dont need to have the stereo volume maxed out.

i had to do this when i first got my 150. havent had to since.

I tried this tonight. Did not work.
I have since read that Prado owners in USA have a class action about this problem.
I have contacted Toyota Assist who said take it to a dealer. I guess it can wait till the next service.

Mine works fine in 2021 Prado and hiace.
Unsure of settings, just always been fine

Car has been to dealer for 60k service and the call is ‘ Bluetooth requires amplifier replacement to resolve issues with Bluetooth (WTY)’
Hope this helps for others.
stay tuned for update after replacement.
