I have GXL 150 and iPhone 4 - works perfect. If you hit the USB button it accesses music wirelessly on the iPhone and the steering wheel controls work the iPhone for track changes and volume. Hit the USB button again and it reverts to the iPod. I have had other wired in kits before and they dont work as well as the Toyota. Vehicle is only a couple of months old so I dont know if there has been a change. In the 120 the bluetooth was useless - paired but nobody could hear you

My iPhone 3gs and iPhone 4 pair easily in my 120. Sound is great. Must say, the previous owner did something that I dont understand to the system I think

Can confirm that my wife's Nokia N95 and my Nokia E72 both connect up but we do experience the occassional disconnect. Inspired to see if I can get the audio to work having ready the responses from others.

I found this website useful for finding out what phone works via bluetooth or not.

Although it does not have prado listed, I found "2010 4runner without nav" better match my 2011 VX, after selecting pairing with the existing phones. An example of iPhone is like this:

I have just unwrapped my 2011 GXL and had a bit of fun connecting the Nokia 6233 to it. I could get bluetooth symbol but no sig strength, no phone functionality.
I found I needed to select Int Audio on the CDplayer display and then search for audio enhancements on the Nokia bluetooth page. Now I have the sig strength display and can receive incomming calls. If anyone one has had any further success than this I'd love to know your secret. Middle age may be setting in because to me the instructions seem only to partially match the system.

I have a GXL and have been using an iPhone 4 fine for some time. The other day I noticed something strange, when playing music via Bluetooth if I hit the voice dial button I now no longer get the familiar beep after which point you say the name, it just flashes up Welcome! On the LCD display of the Radio. If I am listening to the radio and do the same process it works fine so the pairing is all good. Its a pain because I have to change the source every time I want to do voice dialing.

Has anyone else had this problem? I am not sure exactly when it started happening butit definitely used to work in the past. Maybe one of the latest iPhone software updates broke something?

I have a Nokia E71 and also find that it doesn't connect at times . There's no rhyme or reason for it , it can run for weeks no prob's then just won't connect . I found if you turn the phone off then back on it will then connect ok .

Finally got my Nokia 6233 running correcty. need to pair as phone only. To upload your contacts i need to select add contact at the car radio then send a business card from the phone handset. My phone can only do this one at a time. On other phones you can mark as series of contacts and upload them. Voice recognition is fantastic and am now loving the blue tooth after so many years of hands free. one of my work buddies has had a Prado for 6 months and was very impressede when I set it all up for him yesterday. Thanks for the help and advice. The blue tooth phone connection is brilliant. Ipod connects using bluetooth at the same time to play music. Junior is loving that. Now I can avoid the possibility of a fine!!!

I'm using a Nokia N900 with my 120 VX (GCC spec). Music only plays through phone speaker. I probably need to check out phone / car settings to see if it will play through audio system. Connects automatically whenever I turn the ignition on.

I had a T90 which was crap, replaced with a Nokia 6720 and works really well. Foam cups and string would have been better that the T90; good old Telstra! Advice previously sought

I found with my 6120 I had turn it off and back on every couple of weeks to reset it.
