New ARB bar + Winch and braking distance

I went to Brighton ARB today to install a combination bar and ended up with a Warn winch also!

Got the whole lot done to save some reworks if winch was to be added on later, plus some discount from ARB
I still have the standard suspensions for now.

The extra weight (bar and winch) is around 100kg, and on the way home I noticed the 150 VX prado seemed taking a bit longer to completely stop from braking. It felt like the car was just having so much more momentum, but this is not the same as when I have passengers with combined weight of 120kg.

Is this just a problem with the extra weight at the extreme front of the car? Would upgraded suspensions with lift help in this case?

yes, by adding all that extra weight right at the front you have changed the rake. Front will sit too low compared too rear. The front end will also dive more due to the weight and the rear will brake less, your shocks aren`t designed to cope with the extra weight. Heavier spring to carry the extra weight will get the front back up, also the right shock absorbers will make a big difference.
