yeah - the lease ran out on the 200 and I am back in a Prado - have a work GX and a play Kakadu.
Very happy with the Prado but miss the V8 sometimes.

It's not actually integrated but the control box sits on top of the winch motor and stays inside the bar with a hole to access the plug port. The other option is to go for the remote system and have control on the dash (will probably go for this at a later stage)
The bar is due this coming week so I'll post a review and pics.

        • Hi everyone..
I have also recently had the TJM T15 fitted to My 150..
Surprise surprise after a stone chip the drivers side infill panel is peeling badly..
Looking at the paintwork on the panel (Silver pearl)
It does not look to have any primer beneath the silver..
          Now my question is -
I am located in the outback & the work was done in Adl..
Is it easy enough for a novice to remove the brows and send them back for repainting And Me fit them after painting.
or do I wait until I am back in Adl (This could be after the warranty period has expired) and have it done while there..
I really dont want to be without the car while next In Adl in the hope that some Junki Panelbeater doesn't cut corners & gets it right second time around..
What are peoples thoughts on this situation ??..
          Cheers...

I would have to totally agree with u. For me the ARB looks better, but.... after our trip out west I'm curious as to how the TJM bullbar would go like on badly corrogated roads in regards to vibrating, etc.

When I had our ARB fitted and drove it home I noticed that it "seems" to move quite a bit so I had all the mounts checked for tightness. I was was informed by the installer that it's not the bar but the car moving..... Well I just believed him until our trip out west.... I had a UHF aerial mounted on the bar (unfortuately is didn't have a spring base on it) and I noticed it shaking vigoriously during teh trip and wondered how long it would last..... well, not long. Next time I remembered to look the aerial was snapped (the thin wire type aerial) with just the screw on part remaining. The ARB seemed move a hell of a lot and don't reckon that it is ALL the car moving and not he bar, especially upon seeing the way the aerial was shaking on those roads b4 it broke off.

I had a TJM bar on my old 100's and in relation to a mates ARB fitted bar on his 100's, his moved A LOT where as mine moved very little.
So.... What have those people that have the TJM bars fitted noticed in relation to perceived movement / vibration of their Bullbars when travelling over badly corrogated roads? Which moves more... ARB or TJM? Would this movement of the ARB Bullbar have any relation to the issues of the inner body cracks that some are talking about?

Would like to hear from both ARB and TJM owner experiences??

            • my TJM moves around heaps, or it at least appears to, some times i think it's gonna fall off and i'm going drive over it. But when i stop and check it's rock solid.

                • I did have initial concern the first dirt road i drove with the amount of movement with the TJM, i got underneath and checked the bolts each side and even noticed another hole in the bar and a thread in the chassis rail where another bolt could go. But the installer assures me that all the required bolts are in.

Then i went for a drive in a mates with the ARB and suprise suprise it has nearly the same amount of movement.. so close i couldn't pick which one moved more.

                  • Yeah, that's the body moving on the rubber mounts over top of the chassis.

The only way to stop aerials from breaking is to go to your heavy duty aerials.

Good price for the graphite however I am confused on why the graphite would be $400 cheaper given its the same bar and paint process? I did not think they charged extra for the bar with sensor holes either. Did you go the awning or under body guards?

                          • You've gotta be kidding me. I just bought a T13 bar. If i'd waited a couple of weeks I could have gotten some something extra. This always happens and that's why I don't gamble.

went for the underbody guard. with the paint , i have been explained that crystal pearl paint needs more layers of paint and so more time consuming . but i'm not a painter . if you , or someone else knows more about that particular paint let me know. thanks
