How to remove plastic rivets on the wheel arch cover

The plastic wheel arch cover above the front right tyre on my Prado is ripped out a little bit.
I am trying to undo the round plastic rivet that looks like an oversize screw but have no idea how to do it.

Anyone knows an easy way to take these out?

Can we get these as spares from Toyota?

You could try levering this out with two flat screw drivers - one either side. The under side of these things is square about 8 - 10 mm wide, i think the locking part is on diagonal corners.
I tried to save them when installing the Safari Snorkel, but it didn't take long to decide to get the knipex pliers out and just cut the bludgers.
I had already sourced replacements from Toyota spare parts, so was not going to waste time.

you can get replacement plugs from supercheap auto and the like.

I find that when possible, a small (very small) cable tie can be put over the back of them and zipped up, which in turn pulls in the clips which are on 2 or the 4 corners. however, if they have been through mud they can be very hard to remove.

As the boys have already said, best to have a few replacements on hand before attempting removal!

You will just frustrate the hell out of yourself. Buy a pack and go hard ripping the old ones out. Yes, I have wasted a part of my life I will never get back trying to save these things lol.

they are pretty easy to get out , you push the centre piece through with a screwdriver or similar and they just fall out , works for me anyway

Thanks everyone, I picked up a pack of 5 from the dealer for ~$7.50.
The name is "Grommet", Part number is 90189-06065. This is the one without the screw in the middle.
I found another 2 spots with missing grommets, so recommend everyone to go and check under the wheel arches for rectangle holes.
Apparently if the grommet is not there there might be a gap behind the plastic lining which can accumulate mud/dirts/water and cause rust.
It was a pain to rip out the old one, the easiest way would be just cutting the head off with some flat fliers.
