  • Is there supposed to be a nut in this position under the car?

While checking the underbody after our trip, I noticed something that looks like a missing nut.
There is a large aluminum block with fins under the car, near the left side-stand. It appears to be some sort of heat sink. There are a number of nuts and bolts to hold the block to the underbody of the car. In one place I can see a yellow circular plastic washer going through the bolt, but no nut. All other bolts have matching nuts.

Can someone please have a look under their Prado 150 and see if you have a nut where the yellow washer is?

    Thanks

    Andy

    Hi an000

Mine is the same, not sure why it doesn't have a nut on it.

I thought it was odd as well so I checked it out at a car yard.

    cheers

I believe the aluminium block is a fuel cooler of some description, at least that was what I have been told previously to the same item under the 120.
